Dr. Natalie Costello


Dr Natalie graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours in 2000. She has worked in various clinics throughout Queensland and became the owner of Taringa Fiveways Dental in 2012.  Dr Natalie is committed to providing dental care in an ethical and conservative manner, as well as ensuring her patients have a good understanding of the current treatment options available.

 By attending the latest conferences  and dental seminars, Dr Natalie keeps her knowledge and techniques up to date. She is also a State and Federal ADA member since 2000. 

With over 20 years experience, Dr Natalie prides herself on being gentle and thorough in her dental treatments. She has a wealth of knowledge and will provide each patient with a comprehensive examination and excellent attention to detail during treatment.




Kate is our clinical assistant who has worked in various clinics throughout Queensland and is passionate about dentistry and providing high quality dental care.


Kate is happy to listen to your concerns and provide you with home care advice, to help you take care of your teeth. She is studying nursing and enjoys all aspects of dentistry and in her spare time loves to visit family, exercise, and has a strong passion for soccer. 

Dr Jacinta Clayden


Anna joined Taringa Fiveways Dental team in 2017. She is studying Bachelor of Dental Science at UQ and has a passion for dentistry.


Anna will help you in any way she can, in a friendly and professional manner.


She is dedicated to ensuring you have a pleasant dental experience.




Dr Veronika Valena graduated the University of Queensland with first class honours and as a class Valedictorian in 2002.  She developed her clinical skills and experience in both public and private dental practices in Cairns.  In 2004, Dr Valena returned to Brisbane, where she continued to work in private dental clinics, while also serving as a Forensic Dental Officer at the Forensic and Scientific Services at QE II Hospital. 

Dr Valena has many years of clinical experience in all aspects of general dentistry including preventive and restorative treatments, crown and bridge, root canals and simple orthodontics.  Veronika is committed to continued professional development and is a proud member of the Australian Dental Association as well as the Australian Society for Special Care in Dentistry.  In her spare time, Dr Valena contributes to the next generation of young dentists through the University of Queensland Career Mentoring Program.   Veronika is a passionate runner and a triathlete and has represented Australia at the 70.3 Ironman World Championships in Mt. Tremblant, Canada.  Veronika is also a voracious reader and speaks Czech, Russian and some German.
